Any Netflix recommendations?
I’m in London and we have just been told we are going into a lockdown asap. No guests allowrd in the home, no restaurants, no bars or pubs. Gutted and will most likely make the most of my Netflix membership at this point
Does anyone have any recommendations? I like things like Mindhunter / Bad Billionaires of Indian etc but am totally open to anything |

You might try a search for previous threads.
There have been several this year.

The Queen's Gambit (recently released) is probably the best Netflix-produced series I've seen.

I sympathize, having been through two lockdowns this year. Some recommendations - I could add a lot more, but these are a few highlights...
Hannibal (with Mads Mikkelsen) Ozark Homeland The Crown Bodyguard (2018) The Foreigner (2017 movie) The Siege of Jadotville (2016 movie) The Last Full Measure (2019 movie) For comedy, I enjoyed Schitt's Creek

Ozark, we watched it not knowing anything about it or hearing any reviews. Man we’re we pleasantly surprised. Well written and acted and it’s actually a fun ride watching.

Criminal UK. Intense, almost real-time criminal interrogations with great twists. Using the same format and set, but with different plots that reflect each country's current concerns, are Criminal Spain, Criminal France, and Criminal Germany. Brilliant series.

Enjoying 'Kingdom' at the moment... Not sure if it's on the format for the UK however.

Just finished Longmire on Netflix and it was quite good. Likely not for everybody but if a modern tale of a Dakota sheriff and his crew doing battle with all kinds of bad folk and throw in the Cheyanne Indian tribe with both bad and good members it’s a fun ride. Six seasons

Queen's Gambit by far the best Netflix show this year. It's amazing how they made a game like chess so glamorous and exciting!
