Facelift for a 1603

Just for a change, I recently decided to pick up a spare period correct dial and hand set for my 1969 Datejust 1603. It’s like a facelift I guess. I put the original patina dial and hands away for the time being. Definitely more readable. I’m enjoying the slightly refreshed look on my vintage piece. Fortunately I have a great Rolex certified watchmaker who did all the work for me. Interestingly, during the course of my hunt for the parts, I realized just how difficult it was finding OEM parts for 16XX Datejusts. Anybody else decide to do a refresh on their vintage piece while keeping your vintage parts?

I had the same struggle when I was looking for a silver TT dial In Good condition. The biggest struggle was finding a tt oval link bracelet.

Where did you source your hands from?

I got both dial and hands on eBay but from different sellers. My hunt took me several months of searching.
