Some pictures from Moab this past weekend

Guys,
Just a couple selected pictures from a Moab camping trip this weekend, a couple HDR (non-hdr duplicates included as well for those that don't like HDR ;) )

The arch, shot with 50mm:

A very old cabin at the beginning of the delicate arch hike, shot with 50mm

An outside look at the fiery furnace, shot with 14-24mm (14mm FL)

Shot with 14-24mm (14mm FL)

Just behind the arch, shot with 14-24mm (14mm FL)

Nice pictures and I don't mind HDR at all. I think it has it's place in photographic art. Have you tried cropping or cloning out the post on the left of the cabin. I found it ever so slightly distracting.

Thanks for the tip, I'll see what I can do with the post. I was trying to add a little bit more detail in the shot but if it's distracting, that's not a good thing.

Nice shots, I'm not a big fan of HDR, but these look good. That's an amazing natural arch.

Where is that It reminds me of Arizona... I was just there in February.

You know, if a bit more of the fence was visible it would lead nicely up to the cabin. I just found the bit in the picture did not add anything. Of course I'm being over critical as it's a nice picture anyway.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I have to agree, it would have been daunting to come across this back in the 1800's... It was certainly amazing to see this day in age.
