Being second on the list for a Kermit isn't too bad.
I've always wanted a Kermit or Hulk to add to my 16613 Bluesy, figuring I would wear them both in rotation and leave them to my children as an heirloom.
A few years ago we moved to a new city and the AD with whom we have no history here essentially told us "good luck with that" when asked about getting a Submariner. So about a month ago, my wife reached out to our old AD. Apparently we were number two on the list to get a Kermit because today that AD texted and let us know that whomever was number one on the list passed on the Kermit! It should go without saying that I jumped on it!
