Customizing your Rolex (CDN)...?
Hi,
I dont know if I'm going to get shot for even asking this question. But I'm just wondering if I wanted to paved my dial (diamonds), would it need to be custom made by a jeweller or could it just be purchased like pre-made dials that i've seen?? Has anyone in Canada ever worked with any specific jewellers to have this done.....?? Thanks everyone for your help! |

Most people here don't like the thought of aftermarket parts being added to a Rolex. I am so glad they talked me out of it. But anyway, you mayb be able to find a pre-made dial, but it would not be Rolex. Just be careful because some of that stuff comes out looking terrible.

Hi Shelley!
yes I've thought about buying one with all original parts but the price tags are a bit insane for me right now. I totally understand why its frowned upon but I'm most likely going to do it anyways so i might as well thought I would ask for some advice and despite personal prefrence...maybe I could get some directions on how to "get this done" lol! I know there is a Marketplace here selling it but after purchasing it where do you take it to get it put in? lol... |

I would probably purchase a pre-made diamond dial, orginally made by rolex. The only parts I would put on my Rolex would maybe be a clear case back piece, and an engraved clasp (after seeing the white gold daytona).

Don't know about adding aftermarket stuff , think about it twice before you do something you may dearly regret afterwards .

Almost any independent watchmaker will change dials for you...provided that you have the dial you want to change..
An authorized Rolex Watchmaker will not do it, nor will a Rolex Service Center.. and afterwards, no Rolex associated watchmaker will service the piece....however, there are literally hundreds of thousands of places that will. There are plenty of diamond dials, bezels, and accessories available...all you have to do is google.
