Rolex vintage ??? Ref. 3132 circa 1939
Hello fellow members,
Can anyone one of you please tell me if everything is correct. Fell in love with this at first glance. Condition wise it’s not so good. I believe this is ref. # 3132 from 1939. Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The crown is wrong and the speidel should be swapped before it starts damaging the inside of the lugs, but otherwise beautiful watch, nice to see one that hasn’t been refinished

Yeah, so likely drilled out and fitted with modern crown-tube and crown, which does hurt originality/collector value but a very lovable example. There are many better choices for bracelet, I think you'll enjoy the hunt!

The dial is repainted, but the copper tone background complements the bezel. The Mercedes hands look to be original Rolex hands.
A nice leather strap will be preferable to the expander... |

There was a tube made that converted BB to 530 crown. If that was used it can be retro fitted and the proper crown installed.
