Rewarded with New Pepsi GMT C for MSRP after long wait
I remember the days when you went to gray dealers for discounts, those days are long gone and unfortunately buying from a authorized dealer is now much less then a gray. I have wanted a Pepsi gmt since it was announced. I had a Batman and I don’t know why I traded for a two tone GMT .. definitely doesn’t make sense now (still have it and the extra weight feels great). Last summer I bought a Pepsi GMT from a authorized Rolex dealer who would only sell for $6000 above MSRP , woke up the next day and returned due to buyers remorse (I didn’t want to reward a dealer selling at gray prices)
I put my name on a list at another Rolex dealer while buying jewelry for my wife as a anniversary gift, another visit I bought a new Breitling crocodile strap and a deployment buckle for myself. Over the next few months bought some more jewelry for wife as a birthday gift . My business was appreciated. Today I got the call and picked up a brand new Pepsi GMT at MSRP from this second dealer. I plan to buy all my Rolex watches from them.
