Only one can stay! Thank you guys.
I personally look for timeless pieces in the long term.

I gave up a long time ago worrying about nicknames, back when the bruiser was a thing.
Before then this nickname thing wasn’t a big deal beyond a couple grandfathered references, Pepsi, Kermit...
Now even ADs use the nicknames and you could even search the Rolex website with them, so I realize that I’m either old or that they won, and I’m not old yet so...

With that in mind I prefer the Starbucks aka LV3

I'd pick the BLNR, unless we're talking 16610LV, that's another story.

I mostly use reference numbers, but also say ceramic Kermit and Batman jubilee.

Would much rather see called Gen 2 Kermit or ceramic Kermit or Kermitc. Starbucks is lame.

So this has turned into a nickname thread, haha...LV3 is super easy and 12LV even more rational. It's just a watch and no matter your feelings, these names will persist, and even more so if people see you get worked up over it.
I'll say this much, every single person in the thread knew what watches he meant, without saying 116710 BLNR or 126610 LV, so mission accomplished.

If you read through my history here, I'm not one for nicknames, but 2020 has shown me that there are some way more serious issues in life to dedicate braincells to. It's just a watch and these are random people online, and you never know, some may be great people, saying Starbucks or Bruiser, Batman, Pepsi, or Hulk doesn't say anything about their person lols.

Which do you prefer?

Who cares what anyone else thinks. Like what you like, wear what you want.
