Case marking on a ladies date just 69173
Do ladies watches not have Orig. Rolex Design and stainless steel engraved on the case at 6 and 12 o’clock? Is this watch legit based on the case markings?

Some do and some do not... production was not so standardized in the 80s... these pictures do not suggest anything wrong with the case necessarily though it does look like someone tried to reengrave a few numbers... Most of the numbers look good though...

Early ones had it on the case back. I think they started putting it between the lugs in the mid 90's, around the time they introduced the bold-font date wheels.
