Tudor BB GMT on Leather

Love GMT watches and I wanted to do something to mix it up with my BB GMT. I bought it on bracelet but always liked the factory brown leather.

Went to the AD a few weeks ago to order it. Got the text today that it was ready and just picked it up. Love this setup and helps to mix up all the stainless steel in my collection.

Pics included.

I’ve been thinking the same lately, but would still be nervous around the date issue which is the only reason I sold mine. As far as I am aware, there’s not been any official word as to whether or not a fix was ever found...

OP - I had mine on leather, added the bracelet and them sold the bracelet. Just couldn’t find a comfortable fit. Leather was my preferred option for this one, it looks great and also think the clasp is very nicely made!

You won't regret it. I started with the leather and added the bracelet, but I prefer it on the strap. Only issue I had with the strap is its not great for hot and humid summer months here in the mid-Atlantic. I would destroy it in no time. Best of both worlds!

Bought mine on leather and it's very nice. Eventually bought the bracelet. This watch looks great on anything.

When I saw the BB GMT for the first time I was at the boutique collecting a BLRO. The SA showed me the steel bracelet version first then the Siena leather strap. My first watch ever from that Rolex boutique was not meant to be the BLRO, I passed on it that day and took its BB brother for how better its size suited my wrist but also because of the beautiful Siena strap.
I think the boutique manager knew that day I’m in no way a flipper and he opened the doors for me to get any other Rolex model I may be wanting to add later on.

Looks great! I could have had my choice of one on a bracelet, leather, or NATO on my last AD trip. But I'm foolishly holding out for a BLRO from my AD.

Congratulations. I wear mine on the bracelet, leather and NATO. Mine typically stays on the leather.

How you like that nato William? I keep considering picking one up. I prefer the Tudor design over the standard nato strap. Just not sure if I would wind up using it since like you I also have the leather and bracelet.

Tudor BB GMT on Leather

Nice watch; tried for the first time today; thickness similar to the Pelagos:

Looks good on steel and also on leather based on pictures!

I just tried on that exact watch at my AD a few days ago. I was tempted but...

1) I'm not sure the leather strap is for me

2) I'm still leery of this model with all the date wheel problems I've been hearing about.

I asked my SA about it and he said he really didn't have any information to share with me about the date wheel issue - good or bad.

Anyone looking to pick one up in the Chicago area, the AD is in Woodfield mall.

Spoke to an AD few days ago and asked about the date wheel problem on the Tudor GMT and he said it's now sorted!
