How much do you miss it?
My Yachtmaster 42mm has gone back to Rolex to be regulated. After six months it was drifting and needed a bit of love. These things can happen.
Thing is, I’m a bit surprised by how much I miss it. Maybe that’s the real test with a watch...when you can’t wear it! That’s when you ‘know’ you chose the right model. |

I sold my exp2 a few yrs ago. Glad I did. Proportions of it are all wrong. I hope the 50th anniv model is fixed. Then I’ll be back on board

Tastes change and evolve. I've gotten to the point of not at all missing what I had because of how much I like what I have now.

Yes, I can relate.
Even worse than the scenario you describe, though, is missing one that's not coming back. |

That is kinda a litmus test even with selling a watch. If you are not really missing or thinking about a watch you just traded/sold after a few months, it was a good move. Everyone can get nostalgia about a past watch but that’s completely different.
