I’m still debating to pick the PAM1661 of wait for the PAM1663.

It’s Carbotech against Fibratech.
Not sure hoe the fibratech holds I’m against knocks or a drop...

What would you do?

I did not like the biodegradable in that review!

But I guess and hope it does apply to the watch.

My only concern for this piece is the hardness of the titanium, I have a carbotech and its tough !!! Banged so many times still holding up amazingly.

How are the underside of the lugs from strap changes? That's one of my concerns with buying a carbotech Submersible.

its not that difficult, i changed straps many times on my carbotech 1616. its actually quite easy and chances of scratching the lugs during the process is virtually not exist.

X2. I have changed my straps enough on my Pam 661 to know that spring bar scratches would be very difficult to get. I also love the simplicity of the lug holes and changing straps like the old Sub/SD. Its really what a tool watch should have.

Good to hear neither the tool or the spring bar scratches the watch.

I’ve changed straps so many times on my carbotech 979 and not a mark visible. Also has springbars and lug holes. No components to break or chance of failures. Simple and reliable.
