Did you feel you’d never appreciate YG?

I thought I only liked SS watches. Or WG. Until this one joined my small collection.

Wore it during a walk in the snow this morning. I like the way YG catches ray of light. I like the warmth of YG. I like the champagne sub dials and contrast with matte black dial.

I love the warmth of YG/RG. And I love the contrast of TT watches. That Daytona is so nice!

Dont worry I used to be like you. Always SS. I've done a complete U-Turn and all I wear now is colored gold YG or RG.

Lets be honest gold is king and there is just nothing like a gold Rolex on your wrist.

used to hate it, thought it looked cheap and tacky until i saw it done properly and not on cheap plated jewelry

I generally don't like yellow gold in watches, but I think the new silver OP with its gilded indices and hands give it a very nice pop.

I think there are few gold or tt gold watches that are beautiful, however, the vast majority do not appeal to me.

Your pic is definitely one of the ones I like (along with the Bluesy).

Me, I've always liked it. It's natural for mankind to want the stuff. The aliens sent us here to collect it to fix their flying saucers. Or something. Apparently. Makes sense to me.

Always liked it. Never been able to justify that kind of outlay on a wrist watch. Maybe one day.

I love YG, as previously mentioned it has a warmth. WG looks “frosty” and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that...beautiful contrast to YG. I have a YG Bluesy so my next grail purchase will be the Smurf.

Always liked it. I actually find that there are references in each metal that look fantastic. I do enjoy the added weight that comes with the PM pieces, though for some I know the lighter the better...to each their own.

That's a beautiful Daytona...though I'm biased

A classic 36mm yg rolex is the ultimate watch, imho. Won't get overly noticed, waterpruf, tough and classic.

I think YG looks best on some skin tones while RG works best on other skin tones. As someone else mentioned within each metal color there's a best looking reference and in my opinion yours is the best looking combo for a YG daytona.

I'm still mostly SS or WG. But like you, recently I have decided there are a few references that look great in YG. The Daytona you picked is one of them! Congrats, you started at the top of the YG heap!!!

Before I picked up my YG DDII I didn't think I was a PM guy. Once I put it on, I can get enough of pm pieces. I now have 4 Pm watches 3 yg 1 wg. Now I need platinum.

Love it. That’s the best YG oysterflex color scheme IMO.
