My nephew has been a watch person and finally got to a place in his life that could spend some money on a nice watch. Can’t quite pull the DJ 41 blue that is his grail watch, But I shows him Tudor BB blue a while ago and he liked it.

Finally when he gave the ok, I started searching around and this past Wednesday was able to find one from Erik Szper at Radcliffe jewelers.

Great transaction overall and extremely happy with the purchase. My nephew already came and picked up the watch to take it to a local watch shop (World Time) to have it sized. (We were busy and I could not do it for him in time. )

Thanks guys. It is truly beautiful. I have the 79220R smiley face myself and love it. I never cared for the blue version that much but recently it has grown on me. Getting this watch in my hands and up close and personal ( outside of AD environment ), I really appreciate its looks a lot. It has the white hands and text in dial and the blue bezel insert plays very nice in the color combo.

Wearing it for a few minutes it didn’t feel any different than my 79220r (height wise).

I wish my nephew many years of joy with this watch. He is a good kid ( 30 some year old ). He deserves it.
