18038 Dial Catalog
Hello Gentlemen,
I'm looking to buy another day date 18038 after letting one go that was just not perfect (service dial). I hope to avoid another dial surprise but it's really not easy with these models. I used to have a web page with a dial catalog for this model but it seemed to have disappeared. Does anyone have an overview of all original dials offered for the 18038 and especially the diamond ones? This is the piece I'm about to acquire, opinions on originality appreciated. apparently I'm not allowed to post images yet... will do so when possible. But its the YG 18038 string dial that you can see on the Bulang & Sons website. I have not sean the saphires being on the outisde ring compared towards the diamons, but I have seen it a couple of times. Would like some more firm confirmation before taking the piece to rolex themselves and discovering the full history. thanks in advance for your help. |

I don’t have a full catalog, but I don’t see that one among the pages I do have. This is as close as I see -
