Got THE text....

I wasn’t really in the market for a ladies datejust 31 diamond dial. But should I still buy it? Is this a sought after model?

(and no, I didn’t photoshop this text...or express any interest in a 31mm. This was a total random/out of the blue text from a SA I don’t really know)



Thankfully, I did manage to pickup a new Kermit the other day. (Not from an ad - I made a trade with a buddy). I must say, I love everything about it. Rolex really did a nice job on the new case. Fits great!

Lol. Everything about this text makes me laugh. While others on here proudly share their text exchanges for Daytonas and Pepsis, this is all I can pull? Really? A 31mm two tone diamond dial datejust text?

My wife saw the text and actually really liked the watch. But I just got her a Cartier last year for Xmas, and she’s not into owning multiple watches the way i am...thankfully!

Who knows, maybe the random text approach works during this time of year. I’d be curious to get the metrics on it.

it's not really a random text, she's banking on it being holidays and you looking to buy a gift. if this was a text you got on a random day in august then maybe it would be suspect lol

Exactly. Last Thursday I got a similar text and settled on a non diamond version for my wife. After handing over the credit card the tray returned with a BLRO for me.
