FS: Seiko SLA033 "Captain Willard"

Seiko SLA033 in Excellent condition with boxes, books, and valid warranty card stamped by US AD and dated 12/31/2019. Included are the OEM Seiko Waffle strap, plus two Uncle Seiko straps (19mm Waffle and 19mm Tropic) and an OEM Seiko deployant clasp that works great with the Uncle Seiko straps (it's 16mm, so it won't work with the OEM Seiko strap).

The SLA033 was a limited run of 2,500 watches with an MSRP of $4,250. I have read that it's assembled and finished by hand in a Grand Seiko facility using many of the same materials and techniques used for Grand Seiko watches. This is a dynamite watch, and it makes me realize a Grand Seiko is my kind of watch, so I'm selling this to make room for that

Condition is Excellent, with only slight signs of my careful use. A tiny nick on the case at 8:00 is the only item worth mention, but it's so tiny it doesn't show in photos. The Caliber 8L35 in it runs and operates beautifully, keeping time at a slight daily gain (I get around +6/day) and maintaining the proper 50 hour power reserve.

USD $2,950 includes fully insured USPS Priority service in the CONUS (prefer to sell in the CONUS, but will discuss shipping internationally with the buyer covering additional shipping cost). PayPal is preferred, and I'll cover fees. Zelle or personal checks are fine, too. If you have a Grand Seiko SBGR261 to trade then let's discuss it, but otherwise I probably won't consider trade offers of other models.
