16570 Polar patina
Hello everyone,
I'd like to hear your opinions about the patina of my 16570 serial L from 1989, can you determine if is naturally aged or artificial from these pictures? Thank you :-) |

Does it smell like coffee? Just kidding. Find other L serials and compare it to them.

did you buy it second hand? it looks like a relumed job and probably "cooked" under a heat lamp, hence the blistering effect, Just my impression. A naturally aged patina should be like this one all uniform and smooth with the hands slightly less creamy as less layers of tritium ..
