Special Incoming
Special to me at least, not the most difficult reference to come by. I started my watch journey just earlier this year inquiring about an OP39 at a very busy AD in NYC.
Reading online that NYC AD’s are impossible and realizing that the BLRO is the watch I truly want, I went ahead and purchased it grey. I guess the SA and I had a good connection because when the OP39s were discontinued she reached out to ask if there’s anything else I’d be interested in. I mentioned the 124060 and although it’d be some time she told me she put my order in. Over the past few months I fell in love with my BLRO even more and although I love the Sub I realized that it wouldn’t get much wrist time. My dads 66th birthday was coming up and he’s never had a watch so I decided I would get it for him. I reached out to my AD wishing her happy holidays last week, and yesterday she reached out letting me know she had my watch. The best part of it all, after I gave it to my dad, he told me he had always wanted one and specifically this sub because of Sean Connery.
