i fell in luv after i get my hands on a 243!! preferred the 1950 than the luminor case, sits beautifully on my wrist....but my suggestion try them both...my vote goes to 243! really nice...but pls note prices varies quite a fair bit.

not only the case, but it has the escape valve and 1000 meters WR...even the caseback also is different. Price difference is definetly more than 2 grands...

I have worn both and the 243 just feels more balanced and proportioned on the wrist, the 1950 case creates the illusion of smooth lines and is simply perfect.
Shame you are not in UK, you could have mine for £4300!! I have my eye on soemthing else. (not a watch) |

Own both essentially different watches. 24 is more comfortable and for daily wear while 243 is more of a diving watch once in a while watch.

I long for the 243, but I'm happy with my 24. I like the polished case on the 24, but I prefer the 1950 case of the 243. I prefer the chunkier bezel on the 243 but I like the larger overall dial of the 24...and on it goes. I saved a bunch of cash and I love the 24...very happy. I have some cash left over to get something else in the future...

Yes, I wear the 24 everyday. I go back and forth with straps...leather today. Tomorrow the new style rubber from the 243. This weekend I'll go with the OEM rubber deployant. I love this watch and I find it very comfortable to wear daily.

305 is too big for my wrist.
I want a 243 and I want to get it done in a PVD/DLC!

i've tried my friend's 243...it's perfect on my small wrist.Maybe of the smaller dial..i guess. But i prefer the 243 over the 24.
