Been a while since I acquired a new Rolex and was deciding between a Batman and a sub. I’m not sold on the newer tapered lugs of the 124060 but I was sure I wanted a sub sans date. That’s the purest configuration in my opinion.

I opted for the latter as I didn’t want to pay the higher premium for 116710 Batman. Anyone like the 114060 as much or more than an oyster Batman? There is something to be said of the monochromatic color scheme and brushed center links that allow for distinguished, versatile wear.

Anyhow, it’s a great, clean example of a 2019 and I’m thrilled! I was told it wasn’t polished, anyway to confirm that?

Congrats! I used to have a 116710 BLNR but moved it. My 110460 sub still is here!

Congrats! I love my new sub. As far as the polish, I am by no means an expert but looks good to me. In fact it looks unworn. Be curious to hear other opinions.

Congrats! No way to tell if there's been a very light polish really ... get a loupe maybe and see if the brushing matches? lol. Wouldn't sweat it, for such a new watch i'm sure it's all good!

Congrats! Looks good to me. I also have a 114060 bought new in Nov'17 and purchased my Blnr a year later. SubC gets worn ten to one compared and more than most, It's definitely a staple in my collection. Enjoy that Beauty!!...
