There are no floodgates..

There are plenty of watches in the shipping/handling phases while Rolex itself is closed down.

When they reopen, business resumes as normal, with no long line of UPS trucks waiting to load to the tops and race around the world.

We probably see more in stores now because the Christmas and end of year buying is no longer a factor.
