Time for some more bird pics

Here's a few more from my recent outings.


A bit of a rarity this one, Caspian plover


Kentish plover chick. Theses are quite common.


Kentish plover, male adult


Collared pratincole.


Female whinchat. I took this just before dusk last night. The light was awful due to a dust storm but it came out OK.

The camera is a Nikon D3 and the lens is a Sigma 500mm f4.5.

Thanks, I find I have to adjust the exposure value by -1 using this lens. As long as I remember, it's no hardship.
