Zenith Chronomaster & Chronometre Moonphase

At at a more classic size territory of 38mm and 40mm, I find these beauts wonderful to wear without upsetting the wife with a big spend. Sophisticated, beautiful symmetry with classic styling yet fun.. hard not to love :-)

I really like the long discontinued 38mm on the left, either with the black or silver dial. It packs a lot of utility and beauty in a perfectly sized package. A triple subdial column wheel chronograph with a triple calendar moonphase is a perfect combination of complications, in my opinion.

I'm not the biggest fan of the current 40mm version with the overlapping different colored subdials and the red Soviet star but it definitely looks sportier.

I'm really waiting for Zenith to come out with a simple three subdial chronograph with no date like the limited edition one from Timeless Luxury but without the limited edition status and market price so that I can add a Zenith to my collection.

They are marvels

38mm, steel case, housing a El Primero caliber, day date complication and moon phase complication. Haute Horology in my book, and are bargains for what they can be acquired for. Love mine.

Both beautiful and the chronomaster looks much better in person, I had the chance to see and try and the AD.
Excellent value for the house and movements.
Congrats!

Bill,

So glad to see another enthusiast loving the Moonphase Chronometre! I had the silver dial in the past but the lacquer black dial is just in another league for me :-)

38mm Chronomaster was a tad harder to find vs the 42mm for me but it is very sporty and I own nothing like it so.. a fun piece indeed.

Few wrist shots here

Display back is pretty nice too :-)
