Would anyone sell a Pepsi and Batman to fund a white gold Daytona on oysterflex

I have a Pepsi, Batman and ceramic black faced Daytona. Would you trade/sell a Pepsi and Batman to get white gold oysterflex Daytona?

Depends on what you think of Daytona’s in general. I have both the 116710BLNR and the 116519LN. The BLNR is by far my more frequently worn. The Daytona annoys me a little with a more difficult to read dial and minimal lume application. That said, the Daytona on OF is a marvelous watch. It looks amazing, it feels great on wrist, and the case profile is absolutely perfect. Different watches for different days. I think there’s a place for both. If you can add rather than trade, do it!

WG Daytona Oysterfex is awesome but not a trade I personally would do myself.

Could you not give just one of the GMTs up and put in the extra cash so you still retain 2 different but very nice (and wearable!) watches?

If in your situation I’d put the BLNR and cash for the Daytona, keep the BLRO. Keeps a little more color in your rotation.

You have two GMT watches and one Chrono and want another chronograph but in WG. Depends on the goal. Is the goal to acquire a PM watch, or is the goal to have a two piece collection and one of those pieces is a PM watch?

I actually prefer 126710 BLNR to the 126710 BLRO. The case of the 126710 is also slightly improved versus 116710. I would keep the BLRO and sell the 116710 Batman and 116500LN Daytona and then get the BLNR bezel for the 126710 and get the white gold Daytona on OF. My .02.

Not in a million years. That's the biggest joke Rolex has released, a PM watch on OF. All gold or bust.

No. Especially since you already have a Daytona.

No.

If must be done, then let go of one of the two GMT’s and add cash.

Without hesitation. The WG Daytona is stunning and those that dog the Oysterflex likely haven’t worn it for an extended period of time - so comfortable and much more than just a “rubber strap”.
