Rolex 2021 Releases

One of the SAs from my local AD posted this on his Instagram just today.

I can’t find any news on the internet. Is there any credibility here?

What are your thoughts?

I remember Rolex dropped out of Baselworld in favor of the Watches & Wonders for this year. Make sense that they'd have a few new releases to announce at the show.

The beginning of April 2021 was known to be THE next release date for 'novelties'!

What do you think in general? I believe they won’t be in the mood of presenting anything substantial. Just because of general lack of stability and being as well in solidarity with rest of business. Though they surely have quite a few things in the pipe as they are long time since scheduled. Which means most likely and unlike 2021, they will be presented in 2022.

Apart from price increases, we can expect:

- New Explorers
- Possible updates to Airking/Milgauss
- New Coke GMT? (One can only dream)

If the news is indeed right, they want to maintain the Spring release schedule moving forward.. let’s see!

Don’t quite follow the logic. If anything, wouldn’t stimulating the market with something exciting be a better response to low key?
