Service by PP AD vs PP factory - documentation

I've had my watch serviced twice, once by factory (so records should always be available) and once by the watchmaker at a PP AD (which had a PP parts account, according to owner). No plans of parting with my watch at any point, but is it worth tracking service documentation down? The AD is no longer an AD (sold, I believe) but still in business.
