Advice and opinions

Hi all

I have ref 116523 Daytona which to be honest although it was my Grail watch for a long time, when I eventually got one i have never quite gelled with it!

I’m not sure why but it seems to wear very small versus my BRLO, maybe the Black Dial or the 2 tone Bracelet I’m not sure, but it gets very little wrist time

The question is what should i trade it on for? I’m happy to put about another £7k to the trade in price

I’m thinking maybe chocolate Daytona on Oyster flex but I’m not sure if it will wear much bigger or if it will be in budget

So....what are your thoughts on what I could/trade it for ?

Thanks in advance

I find this and the YM40 wears small.

You probably are looking for a sporty dressy piece. The skyD would look great I think

Oyster flex Daytona won’t wear any bigger than your 116523. You are also going to be short funds.

I have never tried one on but have heard the lugs are bigger and the strap on the 2 tone makes the 116523 “seem smaller” maybe Yatchmastwr is the way to go 👌🤔

If you aren't wearing the watch and it doesn't sing to you it's time to move it along, IMHO.

Perhaps you can create a short list of watches you are interested in. Talk to your local AD and ask them if they get one in, even if it is spoken for, to call you so you can try it on. Or... if friend's or a Grey dealer near you has one make an appointment to see it and potentially buy it.

Good Luck finding the new one that gets the wrist time it deserves.

Thanks...that’s a good plan...a short list , try them on at AD or Grey (once lockdown ends) and then decide from there

Thanks for the advice! Ur right a Rolex deserves more wrist time than once every 2-3 months!
