TT Daytona

Just got a call from my AD that the next TT Daytona is allocated for me. This is an AD where I have a light purchase history - Rolexes in the past but last one was 10 years ago. Question is any idea how long the wait will be? Just looking for what others have experienced in these situations. Im trying to be patient but GM prices are only around $1500 more and it gets real tempting.

If one popped up here, I would probably buy it. My problem is, I really want a couple of other models first and I really don’t want too many more watches but on the other hand, not getting younger waiting. Guess I will figure it out.

I hear you, such is the life of a WIS.

Although you should not say "on the other hand" you should say on the other wrist....

One day I will figure out how to post pictures. I went for the diamond dial and I do not regret it. I get a kick out of the fact that I have a watch with gold and diamonds that I think I paid 17 or 18 from DSW. Why pay 15K on top to take away the gold and diamonds.

Plus the non ceramic bezel is great.

Now I have another problem. I love the all gold Daytona's but I cannot justify spending 20k on top just to add a few thousand dollars worth of gold to the watch.

I wouldn’t think a TT Daytona would be too long a wait.

I walked into different AD’s last year and saw three in cases. Last one was a black dial after Christmas so they are out there. Tried both dials on, but couldn’t pull the trigger as they just looked too dressy to me so I’m holding out for a steel Daytona. Plus, the higher cost maid it less tempting as well.

Good luck in your search.

In Holland they are free to order within 3-6 months. They do not guarantee deliverance however, but demand 25% up in advantage nevertheless. I enquired for a dark MOP and even that so to speak 'rare' dial was up for order.
