New blusey

Need some advice I currently have a 2017 114060 no date. Someone has offered to buy it for 10k I paid 6k new. I was thinking about taking that money and buying a new 41 submariner bluesy which I would get in 2 weeks. I’m 37 my current collection is a 16800 sub, new rolex blro, Tudor bb gmt, MOTM and the 114060.

Personally - love the new bluesy, but not as much as my 124060. If it were me, I would sell the 16800 sub unless you have some sentimental value to it. So you would have one sub with the date and one without. I think you would miss the 114060.

Dad's watches are so much more precious than the ones we buy for ourselves

Got it, very special. If you have that black sub date 100% go for the bluesy. You are going to love it! Spoke to my AD and getting one this year.

I think the bluesy would fit in there very nicely with what you've got.

The bluesy is beautiful and would fit your collection well!

I was actually considering selling my 114060 because it’s purchase was tied to a painful time in my life. Instead, I tucked it away in my safe for a year and forgot about it. Recently, I pulled it out and started wearing it again And realized how much I missed it. Before you sell yours maybe do something similar to see how you truly feel it. It sounds silly because it’s just a piece of jewelry, but it’s also a lot of money so I’d think about it carefully before selling one.

Hard to argue with the new Bluesy. It is a watch I just keep looking at and which never leaves my wrist.
