Missing one link on my new 116618LN?
Hello guys! Last Saturday I bought a 116618LN (2020) and went out to celebrate right after going out of the AD! I already own the 116610LN (2019), and when I was asked by the AD how many links I wanted to get removed, I said: "3 links... just like I have my steel Sub".
The thing is that the YG one is way tighter than my SS one... so I counted the links and on both watches, and it seems the YG one is missing a smaller-sized link... (Both watches have 3 links out). I made some photos... what do you guys think? Thank you so much! EDIT: seems like 40MM 11 series subs have all 12 full links... but looks like my SS one has an extra small link? Is that "original"?

Yes. SS 6 digit Subs come with a half link right before the clasp. The gold ones don't. So your new gold is a half link narrower than your steel one. Or about 2.5mm.

Surprised the AD didn’t drape the watch on your wrist to get a sense of how it would fit. Then an actual fitting after the links were removed. And, of course, he might’ve given you a heads up about the link count. All that money for gold and Rolex skimps on the links! Jeez
