New pickup - something blue
Long-time lurker here. I'd been thinking about adding a Rolex to my small collection and came close to buying from a gray dealer. Then Thursday this week, I happened to pay a visit to a local AD where I bought a 16610LV from 10 years ago. Rolex cases were pretty bare as one would expect. I was looking for a white or rhodium dial DJ41 with a fluted bezel, so the sales manager goes "let me check with the owner to see what we have in the safe.". She comes back out with an almost apologetic look and says "we don't have any light colored dials, but we have one that you may like." She was right.
  Called her this AM to see if it was still available. Turns out they sold the one she showed me on Thursday, but they got another one in Friday. I drove over to take another look. I was in a hurry so I paid for it and came back to get it sized. Pretty happy with this pick up. Some may say it's a bit too big  But do you   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
