Description:

This is the CWC 6BB Military Chronograph. CWC represents Cabot Watch Co, which was a company that was commissioned to manufacture timepieces for British military use. CWC was founded in 1972 by Ray Mellor, originally Hamilton’s managing director for the UK. CWC was commissioned by the British military to manufacture based on specifications fit for military and wartime use. This piece is likely to have seen military action at some point during its lifespan. It runs on a Valjoux 7733 which is a workhorse movement and the case engravings denote the number which it was produced (95) and the year of manufacture (81).
