Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar: 39 vs 41?
Hi friends. I've been wanting to add a RO Perpetual to my collection for some time now. It's been difficult to find the older 39mm reference in the right configuration, quality/condition, and price. I've been thinking about getting the 41mm version instead. I have a 39mm jumbo which I find fits perfectly. I'm curious what y'all think as I could use a tie breaker. Does the 41 look as good on the wrist as the 39, and if not, I guess I'll have to wait longer for the right 39. Thanks!

yes! Looks perfect to me. The jumbo‘s simpler dial perfectly suited for 39mm and sits great on your wrist. The perpetual has a busy but well laid out dial and anything smaller IMO won’t be as pleasing to the eye; also sits perfectly on your wrist in my view.

It looks great on you, and that's the most important thing...
Speaking about Jumbo feel, as long as your wrists are not too tiny, it is always about proportions. And Jumbo like proportions on 41mm perpetual are the second closest you get in whole 41mm line just after ultra thin tourbillon... |
