TT Blusey or Pepsi

So I have a decent purchase history at my AD since 2017. Purchased 5 Rolex and 2 Cartier watches.

I've been waiting for my ship to come in for a Pepsi for a little over a year now.

However, the two tone blusey is starting to grow on me....since it's the sub that really pops.

Should I continue to wait for the pepsi or call my SA to add the blusey to the wishlist?

This is completely subjective unless you're talking about resale value. Personally, I'd go with the Pepsi unless the full gold sub was possible. I can't imagine getting a two tone for any reference but that is just my taste.

They’re such very different pieces. Does it have to be either/or?

Bluesy is easier to get. I'd choose the Pepsi, and then ask for the Bluesy.

It would be pepsi for me. The two-tone Bluesy is a handsome watch, but to me the GMT's dual time zone complication wins out.

This because if they get you a Bluesy then they might not feel the need to get you another watch so quickly.

That is a tough one I would probably go with the BLRO.

Would you consider the blusey just for the dial and bezel and swap the bracelet out for a rubber B? I think that would be a good alternative. Maybe you don't think so. Perhaps the Pepsi will come in for you, my AD doesn't think I will be able to get one from them because of lack of supply and high demand. I understand as I am a new comer. However perhaps someday, who knows,, He did sell me a 41 Sub a few weeks ago, the 1st time ever purchasing from an AD, now I only want to buy from them. Other AD's didn't even give me any hope of a watch but this one did a while ago, and came through for me. They now have a new loyal customer.

It'd be easier to ask for the Bluesy. Shoot for the BLRO and then come back for the Bluesy

If you already bought 7 watches and want a bluesy just get the bluesy while waiting on the Pepsi. Two totally different pieces and they both have a place in a collection.

I would wait for the pepsi. What time frame did your AD give you.

BLRO, but it’s much harder to get and you’ll likely keep waiting.....

If you’re buying at retail from an AD then it has to be Pepsi.
Complete opposite buying grey though, Bluesy much better value

If you have bought 7 watches from them I would stick to my guns and ask for a Pepsi because in my personal opinion I have been offered a bluesy over email by an out of state AD where I had no purchase history ie easier to get

Do you want a diver or a GMT?

Sounds like you want both. It's easy to see why.

They are unlikely to turn up simultaneously.

It would depend on what else you have in your collection and if you want a diver or a gmt.

If you don’t have either then both is usually the answer

For me a Diver is more useful than a GMT. What works for you?

I agree with getting what you truly want first and foremost. It can be hard resisting going after the pieces that are hardest to obtain. If you requested the BLRO because you really wanted it, don’t settle.
However if it’s just the hype, see if you can find a Bluesy to try?

I have had many different watches and just can’t get enough of the bluesy. It is all I go for now. On this forum Pepsi will win. But if you asked people outside this forum, from a wow standpoint, the bluesy would win. One of the best looking Rolex’s out there. From an AD, it is also 5k more, so there is that. Really like the blue much more on the bluesy bezel. 174F0B5F-AD00-4F1A-867C-64BDF066E154.jpeg
