Yes, I pity those who could afford 35k$ GMTs. Somebody please check with them
Or create a gofundme to help them.

Do existing WG pepsis change color or weigh less?

A pity if you’re trying to stunt I guess

Rolex allowed one time dial change from black to blue on WG Pepsi, so no big issue.

Dont think guys dropping PM money care too much.

WG was always stealth wealth and has always been that. They dont want ppl to notice but they themselves know they are wearing full gold. Just like Plat owners.

WG looks awesome on my wrist; some find it more modern than YG. Lets not assume everyone who buys WG wants to be completely under the radar.

The only safe WG option is the Day-Date I'm convinced as of today.

If you currently own a 116719 pepsi, and really felt like you'd prefer the SS version, you could likely sell you WG pepsi for profit and buy a SS no problem.

They've held their value extremely well if not appreciated since the official discontinuation.

That said, as others have mentioned, no need to weep for those in the position to buy a $35k watch

They’ll be really upset when the steel version is selling close to the WG version on the secondary market lol

But both super desirable pieces. So either way if you own either one you win.

I still like the WG... sweet piece. Hmm wouldn't it be nice if easier to attain on the secondary now :) (dreaming)

Rose or Yellow gold sports. Can’t trust Rolex with White gold models clearly.

White Gold has like a blue hint to its colour, If you know you know I bet a experienced owner could pick a WG 99% off the time if you put a SS and a WG side by side

I do see OPs point. I am very confused by the recent releases from rolex. TT explorer 1?? TT sea dweller?? Now being able to get a SS pepsi version in same configuration as WG (although you could argue that's why they went blue dial)

It's more important to know what you have, then for someone else to know. Seems backwards now days, doesn't it Stupid era we live in.

Give me platinum anytime. WG looks dull, platinum looks like liquid metal to me.

If you own an WG pepsi and feel upset because of that,
maybe you are not truly love your watch.

No, many of them cared a lot. WG was not stealth for the Pepsi, it was the only option, quite load with that bezel. Then the SS came along and devalued their watches.

I am happy Rolex is offering both options for the bracelet as well as the various color combos. Doesn’t affect my enjoyment of my WG BLRO in the least. Never got it to impress anyone but myself. Love the heft and stealth look of WG. To each his own.

You have to truly love a wrist watch? LOL

Come on man, you can understand it's frustrating to want a white gold sports model when Rolex keeps releasing almost identical SS variants 2 years later like clockwork.

So how exactly is Rolex offering the SS GMT Pepsi with an SS oyster bracelet going to devalue the WG? That makes no sense at all. At the end of the day it’s still gold and more rare.
