I’d say oem. Just picked up a grey oem rubber strap for my grey 15500st
Very comfortable.

I am a massive fan of Rubber B for other brands, but for AP RO I recommend going OEM as well. To my knowledge OEM is the only way to retain the factory end links/plots, and that is required IMHO for an AP on rubber.

Yes, sorry. Like Macrowatch was saying, either directly from the AP boutique or service center.

OEM AP rubber strap has a tang buckle or deployant clasp, not the clasp from the bracelet (i.e., not like Rolex Oysterflex). What you do retain are the just plots connecting bracelet to case. 41mm Rubber B has a velcro fastener, which may bother some, and integrated plots. I'd 100% go OEM, even though it's going to be 5x the price of Rubber B (but only 5% of the price of the watch...).

But that doesn't include plots and buckle/clasp, I'd guess.

OEM.

https://www.rolexforums.com/showpost...08&postcount=2

Pricing from a few years ago. I ended up with the deployant by accident (they ordered the wrong part). It is really uncomfortable. Go with tang.

(1) AD.0288.018.ST Buckle Ardillon 18mm 140 USD
(2) VI.254.066.ST Screw for fixing stud/bracelet, stainless steel 16 USD
(2) VI.253.056.ST Nut for fixing stud/bracelet , stainless steel 14 USD
(4) PL.222.066.ST Stud for bracelet attachment, stainless steel 208 USD
(4) VI.254.012.ST Screw for fixing stud/middle part, stainless steel 32 USD
(1) BR.403.753.027CA Strap, blue rubber, Standard, 27/18 mm 291 USD

$250? That seems low, I thought they were closer to $1K. Never checked myself though.

SMD post is solid for parts numbers. Last strap I ordered was in March, price for strap alone is correct.

Put remember you needs plots, screws, and either tang buckle or deployant to complete the conversion.

Are these the prices for each part or total for each line item? I.e.
Are the studs $208 each or $52 each

The strap does not come with a buckle or any other parts. Ap will tell you to get a folding buckle but I don’t like those so I opted for an oem pin buckle. For a 15500, You also need plots and a tube/screw.
The total was around 600 - 650 usd I think.
Plots 250 (total)
Strap 250
Pin buckle 150 or so

They will tell you the pin buckle does not exist and if they find it they will say it won’t fit but it does exist and fits perfectly. The part number for the buckle is AD.0288.018.ST it’s not used in the catalogue currently and they will have to order it from Switzerland. With this buckle I’m using the regular sized strap and with my 7 inch wrist on the last hole. Keep in mind if your wrist is smaller you may need a smaller strap.

Do you have a pic showing the pin buckle?
Curious to see... might try that route. Thanks

That rubber strap in the US is $291 + tax + $30 shipping.

It is true that they (AP) strongly discourage the use of pin buckles (not sure if it causes excess wear). The strap is designed to work with a pin buckle. The recommended deployant buckle design is so weird and seems like a retrofit.

Anyone using pin buckles on OEM rubber straps, please post pictures. It would be of great help. Thank you!
