Is RO ladies harder to get nowadays?

Hi guys,

I am thinking to buy RO 37mm for my wife. Visited AP ad a few times and they only had 1 or 2 code11.59 thats all.

SA told me, that nowadays RO ladies is even harder to get than RO & ROO gents

is this happen in any other places? and when is this marketing strategy will be over

The 34mm RO may be possible with some patience and persistence. This may vary between different regions though.
The 37mm RO is viewed more as a unisex watch. Thus, men are still in the market for them and are not so easy to get these days. May be possible with some work as a new client if going for the a non-blue dial, but any color is getting harder and harder.

This. And I expect them to become even harder to get. A 37mm Royal Oak works for far more people than the 41mm, once people get over the size stigma and the ‘bigger is better’ approach, which they have started to do over the past twelve months.

37 would be a unisex size. Not everyone can carry the 15500 41mm.
And even less can get a hand on the 15202 so people would go for the 15450.

34mm I think is still relatively quick to obtain. But as others have said 37 I expect to be hard during the brand's renaissance.

37mm RO is more in demand for Asian counties due to smaller wrist size but 41mm is still more in demand for most countries.

37mm with diamonds bezel will be easier to obtain.

agreed, especially since the only 39mm available is the jumbo

In my country both RO 34 and 37mm with diamond bezel are selling above retail in grey market.

Even steel RO 34mm also selling a bit above retail now.

Bangkok has AP house, do they have more timepieces in the show cases?

If you don't have AP purchase history, I'd suggest you just go grey.

There is not much you can do now. Unless AP ramps up production to 200% of what it had pre-COVID, it will never fulfill the gap COVID has created between supply and demand. But we all know it would be a stretch already to ask AP go back to 100% this year.

They have but not in the showcase unfortunately. Only have like 2 showcases and in there are around 5-10 pcs top.

More in the back for the customer who ask for specific model.
