Icon6 Original James Bond Rolex in current Chronos (German) magazine

With hopes that my friends here on TRF will forgive a bit of exuberance, I wanted to share with you all (and especially those in Germany) that the current issue of Chronos features an authorized reprint of my February 2009 WatchTime article, "Discovered: James Bond's Rolex."

Just got an eMail from the editor over the weekend, including the scan Posted here. Chronos and WatchTime are related publications. I was asked how we could make arrangements for the German translation not long after the English version was published.

Most fitting, I felt -- given the multi-lingual capabilities of both Ian Fleming and his James Bond character.

More news to come shortly. As always, comments welcome.

Again, thanks for letting me share this here (first).

Has anyone on this Forum seen the Chronos article yet?

Just recently received hardcopies here; several of my own friends in Germany have eMailed with kind feedback. But I'm curious to see if there's anything from TRF'ers on this.

Thanks!

That picture of a very young Connery in From Russia With Love, one of the best 007 movies ever, looks superb.

I have seen that film several times and would never tire of it. What a superb movie it was at the time.......and even now, more than four decades later, can still be enjoyed by one and all.
