Very stylish chrono. Love the ceramic bezel with rider tabs. That blue reverse panda caught my eye.

What’s the lug to lug on these guys?

If it was a 42 I’d be in, but I fear my tiny wrists won’t pull it off.

Kudos to breitling though for listening and offering a non polished bezel!

Nice watches with terrible resale value.

Thanks...but I meant the north south lug to lug measurement, not the width.

Some of us actually buy watches to enjoy them, wear them and not as investments. Go figure I know there are still a few of us dinosaurs left.

I do like the SS Blue. I am looking forward to seeing the models when my AD gets them. I own the 42 mm version and like it.

Looks amazing. How do you find the bullet bracelet for comfort?

Very nice, I have the same one. If put a ceramic bezel on the 42, it would be perfect. The shiny bezel doesn't wow me.

I've been contemplating one of these for a bit and intend to try one on for a 2nd time this weekend before pulling the trigger on either one of these or a Cartier Santos.

Similarly I'd love the ceramic bezel on the 42mm though, that would make it a no brainer.

I do still think it's really attractive in its present format, and compared to competitors the value proposition is strong (for example if looking at it versus grey market Daytona prices, and considering in house movement, wrist presence, versatility with the rubber strap option etc).

It would be my first Breitling, a brand I hadn't really considered before but the first time I saw the Chronomat 42 I just thought "wow".

too big for me but i like breitling's revival. i think the brand was basically dead and now it is one of the most interesting to me.

You need to do your research before you buy, plenty of bargains available if you look for them. Once bought at a discount that hold their value just as well as most other brands.

Stopped by my AD after work today and they had two of the black version, rubber and metal bracelet, that hadn't even made it into the display case yet. It wears much larger than a 2mm increase over the 42mm version, probably because the dark colored bezel.

The rubber rouleaux strap isn't my favorite: the material feels very different and flimsy compared to other OEM rubber straps. Plus, it cumbersomely folds outside the strap and has to be guided into keepers.

I think I like this new ceramic version better than the 42mm model. Interested to see the blue one in person. Hard to tell with ceramic how the blue will look. In some pictures it appears to be royal and in others it looks almost navy.

If it’s anything like the ceramic on my Superocean Heritage, the blue will look several different shades depending on the light. The one video posted with the review shows a very bright blue but often times mine looks almost navy.

I am wondering if anyone can answer a question for me. I did a search here and on-line with confusing results.
Question about the Super Chronomat 44 4-Year Calendar watch:
Is the B19 movement a highly modified ETA 2892-A2, or is it a totally Breitling designed movement?

From what I could determine, it would seem to be an ETA 2892-A2 with 38 hour power reserve.

I really love this watch and intend to get one <blue with strap>, although it is 1/8" longer than my 50mm Rolex Sky-Dweller and Tudor Pelagos - and those are pushing it.

Thanks in advance for your inputs !!!!

Great watch although the aviator look is not as pronounced as the Navitimer.
