15450 Rotor Noise

I picked up my 15450 from the AD on Tuesday and am very surprised at the level of rotor noise coming from the movement. It's quite noticeable to me in a quiet room or any time I raise my hand. Given that it is far louder than any other watch I've owned at this price point (can't say that I've ever heard a peep from my Rolex's), is this normal or should I be reaching back out to the AD?

Time keeping has been spot on.

It is normal. I was shocked as well when I first heard it, coming from a 5-digit Sub.

But having owned it for some time now, it's not as loud any more.
I'm not sure if it's gone quieter with regular use or I've just gotten used to it.

It is a good winding sound though :)

The thicker casing on a Rolex and the lack of a sapphire exhibition back muffles the rotor noise.

Its like hearing an exotic car engine. Embrace it and enjoy it!

Should be normal, mine does the same thing. No rotor wobble though
