Bracelet question - modern AT
Looks like a butterfly clasp from the pics I have seen on newer 41 mm (?) AT with 6 o’clock date. Any micro adjustability? What changes in bracelets in the AT over last several years if any?
Watch has been on the radar for a long time and will probably be some time if I get one but was curious. I have come to really appreciate adjustability in a bracelet even if it requires moving a pin on the clasp. |

Yep, it's a butterfly clasp, and there is no way to adjust the fit except for adding/removing links. Mine came with two partial-length links.
To my knowledge, there have been no meaningful changes to the bracelet since ~2015, when there was a change to polished center links (versus satin brushing across all three rows of links). My watch comes from just before that change: |

That is correct- butter fly clasp. I had to play around with mine to get it to fit right. I actually called Omega because mine was to tight, add a half link - to loose. Turns out a half link is not 1/2 the size of a full link. So switched a half for a full and bingo! Perfect fit!

Thanks for the replies. Again, will probably be a while if ever but that green is really speaking to me. The AT could be a perfect “one watch” for non watch geeks.
Also have a grey DJ 41 smooth bezel on oyster that kind of fits this niche. I don’t like green in a watch generally but I really like the muted tone. They all look nice to me actually. Butterfly clasps are clean looking but my wrist varies a good bit, especially this time of year but I believe I could get it right enough to work. My first mechanical watch - a tag carerra came on a similar bracelet and I wore it for several years before putting it on leather so not that big of a deal. I am just spoiled now with my PO 600 with push button micro adjustments I suppose. The DJ also has a rapid adjustment to add a couple of MIlimeters when my arm swells. |
