What is the cost of a dial change?
So I know that the process for a dial change has been covered here (i.e. must have been an option for the model at the time it was produced), but what does said dial change cost through RSC from anyone who has done it?
I ask because I am in the market for an 116234 reference Datejust but I have only been able to find the condition I like with dial combo I don’t like. Thanks. |

Dials start at around 300 bucks and go up from there. The RSC will usually only change a dial in conjunction with a full service. An exception might be a relatively new model in like-new condition.

A few years ago RSC quoted me 500 euros for a blue dial in a Yacht-Master, on top of the service. Didn't do it though.

This is correct. If your watch is new enough the RSC will do the dial swap without requiring a service. Dials are a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, hands (if required) are about $100-$300, and the swap itself is only a couple hundred. You cannot swap for a “Geneva Special”, i.e., highly sought after dials like the GMT II meteorite. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm going to have to read up on the dial change process
but let me just throw out the noob question here anyway - if I were to buy a new white dial Skydweller, could I pay to have the dial changed to blue through Rolex? |
