Interesting motorbike

I took my bike for it's annual road worthiness check yesterday. On the test ramp was a very interesting bike of the 50's, an MV Agusta 175cc. I got chatting to the owner and he told me he had just done the Motogiro d'Italia on it. This is an event for 1050's motorbikes. http://www.motogiroditalia.com/en/index.html
This bike is worth £60,000 !! He has just bought a Bugatti which he hopes to run in vintage rallies. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, they are from my phone.

It sounded good when he fired it up. You would have thought it was a 350cc and not 175.

Cool! It looks so simple (and light!) compared with today's bikes.

The older bikes do have a certain simplicity to them that is very appealing. However, i'd still love to get my hands on a Ducati 999s. How can you not want 143hp on a 400lbs bike? Yowsa!

I would, but some of us occasionally have our kids on our laps while surfing... so I'd better not.

My favourite was a Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mk1. I still regret selling that bike.
