New member from Barcelona and NYC
Hello everyone,
I'm a very new user here after stalking for months here and on WUS (where I actually have some history) while hunting for a vintage Rolex. I've gleaned so much knowledge here on the search, and went into the purchase fully prepared and educated, and was able to gently but firmly negotiate based on knowledge I gained here. Why didn't I just join here a couple years ago? Because I had no idea my initial foray would take me through several vintage Seikos, a few Omegas, a couple random watches, a vintage Tudor 7934, and eventually to the 1501 I now have in my greasy mitts :). I really love it. Even my wife, who yawns when I talk about watches, actually paused and said, 'it's beautiful'. I still love my two Seikos, a 1970 Bellmatic and a 90s SKX-031. And the Omega chrono will leave my hands if a potential trade goes through... but this 1501 really is the bees knees.
