Tudor Ceramic with Everest Strap...but which?
Newbie poster here, although I have stalked the site for many years and love the input of all you fellow watch fanatics.
So I got a call from my AD today for the new Tudor Ceramic and was thrilled until I got there and tried it on. Admittedly it is a sticky day in London but was gobsmacked to find the new hybrid strap wouldn't fit me ( I think I am have a wrist size of just over 8 inches) and I am not a fan of Nato's so am trying to think out of the box and find an alternative solution. I have several Everest straps for my Explorer which I am a big fan of. So my question is does the Tudor Ceramic have the same proportions as the Tudor Black Bay 41? If so a work round would be to put it on one of their straps. I have asked Everest the question directly but think they will toe the party line and say they haven't tested one yet or they don't have one for that exact model. It's a bit like they haven't said they can't confirm if the new Explorer II will take the old model version...will have to wait to see their answer or find out from another owner of both versions. Any assistance on a work round would be much appreciated. Yours Gutted of London. |

Buy a strap on line. Are they still 22mm? There are literally thousands of options available

Good to know for anyone else in the future...we will have to wait for them to make a specific version. |

Just reached out to RubberB to see if they produce one, or intend to produce one.
It's the first thing I would like to do once I have my BBC in hand. Ooer. |

RubberB - just heard back - they don't currently make one for the TBB Ceramic and couldn't tell me if there were plans to do so. This would fit with what Everest stated, lug holes must be positioned differently.
Why do they do this?! |

I think Everest has one for the BB. Should be the same for ceramic.

The case is different also I think. The mid case is thinner - at least that was my perception when I tried on at my AD.
Maybe try vanguard and a couple of the other rubber strap makers. |

I’m having the same issue trying to find a new rubber strap for my Ceramic as well. Nobody can confirm that their straps fit.

Buy a Barton elite silicone strap for it for now which is a great quality strap at a very affordable price. This will ensure you get some use out of your new watch before the 'big boys' in the rubber strap world get their act together and produce one for the BBC.
