I went to a local nature reserve
Here are some of the pictures I took whilst I was there. The reserve is called Pennington Flash and it was formed by land that subsided because of coal mining, which then filled with water and now forms a lake.
This is a colourful bullfinch Blue tit (no comments please :-)) Robin Lapwing Juvenile bullfinch Dunnock

Great pictures Adrian I once bred a hybrid Bullfinch X Goldfinch beautiful birds, but by nature there offspring were sterile.Seeing all your birds pictures has made me think into starting up again,with British finches only. .
