YouTube Explorer II comparison: 226570 vs 16570

I came across and enjoyed watching the following video comparing a 2021 Explorer II with a sample from 2008, side by side.

https://youtu.be/KZZap0fof4Y

All credit and my kudos go to the YouTube user YoureTerrific.

In my opinion, the side-by-side comparison clearly shows how the new lugs helps the 226570 look more refined than the versions with maxi-case lugs, replicating the proportions on the 16570. A welcomed refinement in my view.

I still wonder why it needs to be 42mm in diameter, despite the refinements…

I realise my wrist is on the large end of the spectrum (8.25), but I definitively do NOT complain about Rolex keeping the 42mm size. The 5 digits would look too small for my wrist.

Love the size of my 16570 but love the Fatter minute hand on the 2021 model.

Would be useful to me especially under "lume" conditions
