After 10 years and ~50 watches…
Taken a long time to get to this spot, which I think at least for me represents the perfect collection. God I hope I don’t sell any of these!! Would love to see yours in one pic!!

Wow, what an amazing trio. I'm curious how often each gets worn? It wouldn't surprise me if the no-nonsense Explorer gets the most wrist time. I really relate to your post because I've had a lot of watches in 7 years. Maybe 20. But I recently sold most everything off and decided on a similar three watch collection. My base is my 39mm Explorer and my Grand Seiko SBGM 231. I'm working on the third one now, but I think three is a perfect number; plenty of diversity, but they all get worn.
Very nice collection! Enjoy them. |

After 10 years and somewhere around 20 watches, my collection looks suspiciously similar. Don’t know how to post pics here as I don’t have the app, but it’s composed of a black GMT (which would hold the place of your Sea Dweller and two Lange Ones (a WG grand L1, black dial and a RG Timezone). I also have a Navitimer I keep for nostalgic reasons.
So I think if all of us with three watch collections are circling around this theme, it can’t be so far off from perfection.
