Interesting. What's going on with the date function? The watch looks heavily heavily used, and the lugs and dimensions do not seem right. hard pass for me

Date function stuck?
Bracelet looks like it's been through a cheese grater.
I'd be expecting a very low price/big discount on that.

I can get it for 10k, though it was reasonable but still don’t know.

Graduation gift to yourself? It for someone else I’d pass on such a worn well piece.

I mean these giant lung beasts can be polished hundreds of times. If legit, a Rolex service center can have that looking back to show room condition. God knows how many are “lightly” polished by the gray market and what they looked like before that “light polish”.

It will have to be serviced straight away and i would expect 2-3k for that. Look one up in great condition and see the difference in money. I bought a sub is similar condition once thinking I was getting a deal and learned my lesson.

A few things to think about:

The receipt states 126710 but it definitely isn’t. No coronet between Swiss and Made at 6 o’clock. Also it’s on an oyster and 126710 have only recently come on oyster. No way that is in condition of a new watch.

Stuck date is iffy. Don’t usually see that on modern Rolexes. Also from I can see if date font, i dont think it looks quite right.

The solid end links should be very slightly recessed lower than the lugs. These ones seem to protrude quite noticeably (from what I can make out in the blurry photo).

The letter x in the rehaut at 59 minutes isn’t quite aligned.

I don’t think the hour indices look quite right. E.g. the triangle at 12 isn’t quite shaped right and is too close to the minute ticks.

Personally I would be wary of this one.

Oh, and the real giveaway. The hour hand is stacked above the GMT hand. Should be the other way round.

And to as for the question of what it’s worth. Maybe they could get $200 for it?

And the Blue/black bezel partition goes through the 8 on a genuine. Just to add to your already running list.

I'd be very skeptical of this one. If you have any doubts take a pass.

GMT II Batman. Thoughts on this specific one

Look at the OP’s post history, this is third time asking about a poorly faked watch. Sounds to me that they are testing the waters to see if the fake crap they just bought can somewhat pass a real.

Mods should look into this user.

Oh yes, you’re right. Testing a really bad fake receipt as well it seems. I mean does proper watch dealer ever describe a BLNR as ‘Batman’ on the receipt?

It's 100% fake. Dial. Bezel. Bracelet. Movement. All fake. If you can't tell perhaps putting your hard earned money into a Batman is a bad idea. There's a lot of less expensive brands you could purchase while you learn more about watches.

It looks fake to me too, including that the "original" receipt misspells the AD's name as the "Tiny Jewell Box." Run don't walk.

Also the reference of this model on oyster didn't exist in 2019.

You recall the Mod's publicly warned you about this last month in one of the other couple threads of similar dubious content...repeatedly posting Garbage that you know to be garbage is bad ju-ju!
